I’ve always found it curious the discussion of gatekeeping no matter what field of work I’ve been in. Whether it was where a brand purchased their specific packaging, a Chef’s recipe, a designer’s patterns or where they source their fabric... and now it’s pretty much something accused of any photographer who doesn’t share the answer to any question they receive.
